Catral is a town in the Valencian Community, Spain. Located in the south of the province of Alicante, in the region of Vega Baja del Segura. It had 8,105 inhabitants in 2007 according to the National Statistics Institute of Spain.

The village of Catral has a main square where the town hall and the impressive blue domed church are located, as well as a long high street and an outdoor municipal swimming pool. Catral shares a train station with Albatera. The station, known as Catral-Albatera is actually situated on the edge of San Isidro and trains go north to Elche and Alicante or south to Orihuela and Murica City.
